Resume :
The story unfolds not long after the tragic events that occurred during the Oka crisis. A young Caucasian boy whose next door neighbour happens to be his native friend, is informed by his judgmental and intolerant father that he is no longer to have any contact with him. This stems from his fathers strong prejudice against the native people. A nearly tragic accident will force the father to see beyond his prejudices and come to a new understanding and sensitivity about people who are different than him, in this case, the native people.
